In Southeast Washington, DC, a single mother of three boys has always embraced her passion for fashion. From a young age, she was inspired by her grandmother’s skillful sewing, learning to create clothes herself at just six years old. Working as a pharmacy technician, she dedicated herself to providing for her family, but after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, she realized the importance of pursuing her true passion. After meeting Barry, she felt an immediate connection and clarity about her path forward. This encounter proved transformational, leading her to S66, where she could fully express her creativity and embrace her love for clothing design, thus reigniting her passion and purpose in life.
